Rumours are abuzz that Kareena Kapoor is all set to play the lead in South superstar Yash’s next film, titled ‘Toxic’. Apparently, the makers are very keen on Kareena, and they have started talks to sign her up for the film.
India Today has also learnt that Yash and the makers wanted a name for ‘Toxic’ that would not only make the project bigger but will also cater to a larger audience. If things do work out with Kareena, then this will also mark her South debut and also her first opposite Yash.
The title teaser for ‘Toxic’ garnered a lot of attention and was loved by fans.
Yash shared a post on social media and announced his new film, titled 'Toxic.' The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, will release in theatres on April 10, 2025.
The actor announced the title with a video on Instagram and wrote, "'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC." The video gives a glimpse of the actor's looks in the film wearing a hat and a cigar in his mouth.
The film will be produced by KVN Productions. Yash went to London in September for the film's pre-production work.
