He was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film, Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to happen later today at 6 pm in Chennai.

On July 7, Chiyaan Vikram complained of uneasiness and was rushed to Kauvery hospital for treatment. The actor underwent angiogram, according to sources in the hospital. He is in stable condition and is likely to be discharged today. Soon, a medical bulletin is expected to be out.

On Thursday, Vikram had informed Ponniyin Selvan team that he wouldn't be attending the teaser launch today. He will rest for a couple of days and will attend the audio launch of his upcoming film, Cobra, which is slated to happen on Monday, July 11.

VIKRAM'S UPCOMING FILMS

Chiyaan Vikram is one of the popular actors in the Tamil film industry. He was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan, which was released on Amazon Prime Video. 

He is now waiting for the release of Ponniyin Selvan. His upcoming film, Cobra, with director Ajay Gnanamuthu is scheduled for a grand release later this year. On the work front, he has a film with director Pa Ranjith, which is yet to go on floors.
