After Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Dulquer Salmaan, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan is the recent celebrity to receive the UAE Golden Visa. 

Farah took to Instagram and shared a picture while posing with her Golden visa and thanking the UAE government for the honour. The filmmaker penned a note and informed that she received the visa for her contribution to Indian cinema.

The actor also thanked Dubai Film and TV Commission for supporting the creative people. She received the visa at the Dubai Expo. “However much we deny it, it always feels good to be appreciated... I’m so honored to receive the Golden Visa in @uaeatexpo at @expo2020dubai.

The Golden Visa was instituted by the UAE government in 2019 as a new system that allowed investors (minimum of AED 10 million) and entrepreneurs, as well as professionals and specialised talents from various walks of life including science, knowledge, and sports to become a contender by applying for it. 

These golden visas are issued for five or ten years and are subjected to renewal accordingly. In the past, cine stars who have been granted the Golden Visa by Dubai include Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, and Dulquer Salmaan among others.

As per latest buzz, the dates have been finalised too. It is being said that the wedding rituals are likely to held from December 7 to 9, according to a report by Pinkvilla. This is amid the rumoured would-be bride denying the reports in an interview.

Katrina and Vicky are rumoured to have a 'big fat Punjabi' wedding, the report claimed. Apart from the rituals of mehendi and haldi, a Catholic wedding too is reportedly on the cards.

Aryan Khan alone in jail, no harm should be caused to him

Aslam Merchant said that he was ‘touched’ to hear his son Arbaaz Merchant sticking up for Aryan Khan. Arbaaz and Aryan, the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, were arrested earlier this month by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after a raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise ship. The two are currently lodged at the Arthur Road jail.

Shah Rukh made his first public appearance since Aryan’s arrest last week when he visited the Arthur Road jail. A prison official told PTI that the meeting lasted for 15-20 minutes and four guards were present along with them. They spoke on the intercom, with a glass wall between them.

Akhil has now taken a 'conscious decision' of not appearing in romantic movies after his latest flick Most Eligible Bachelor. 

Openly talking about it for the first time, Akkineni iterated that he is 'breaking that pattern' owing to the fear of being stereotyped as an actor. He also spoke about his upcoming release, which he says deals with real issues in a married couple’s life.

Apart from Akhil and Pooja Hegde, the movie also stars Sudigali Sudheer, Eesha Rebba, and Neha Shetty in pivotal roles. Produced by GA2c Pictures, Bunny Vasu, and Vasu Verma, the movie follows the story of an NRI, Harsha, and his relationship with a stand-up comedian, Vibha. 

After several postponements owing to the COVID-19 pandemic., the film is scheduled to release on 15 October 2021.

On being a 'Lover Boy', Akhil said that his decision to not do any romantic flick for some time doesn't arise because of him being bored or not liking the genre. However, he does not 'want to be stereotyped' and is excited to move on as an artist who presents himself in different ways. 

He also assured that his upcoming film Agent is a step towards that change.
