The ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has left the world worried. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a military operation in Ukraine. He even warned other countries that any attempt to interfere with the Russian action would lead to consequences.
There were also big explosions in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other areas of Ukraine. Ukraine has often been a popular choice for movie shootings. While the country is under attack, we found out some Indian films that were shot in Ukraine.
In August last year, the cast and crew of Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer RRR jetted off to Ukraine to begin the last schedule of the film.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Shriya Saran and Olivia Morris in pivotal roles. RRR narrates the fictional tale of Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju.
Oscar winning music director AR Rahman, who has written and co-produced 99 Songs, shot for the movie in Ukraine as well.

99 Songs stars debutants Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in lead roles, alongside Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray and Manisha Koirala among others in supporting characters. The film is a sensual story about art and self-discovery of a struggling singer who wants to be a successful music composer.
Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson shot for a song sequence in Ukraine’s Tunnel of Love.
The song, Roja Kadhal, is composed by AR Rahman. The location is said to be truly beautiful. The team had gone to capture some breathtaking scenic locations in an effort to recreate the same in India with the support of visual effects.
